Central States Health & Life Co. of Omaha (CSO) serves as the reinsurer for both CSI and CSI Life’s Medicare Supplement business, yet is an entirely separate entity from the two. In 1932 Central States Health & Accident Association of Omaha was founded by T.L. Kizer. This small business grew rapidly and by its 25th anniversary in 1957, the name was changed to Central States Health & Life Co. of Omaha.
