Medicare Medical Savings Account (MSA)
A MSA or Medicare Medical Savings Account is a high-deductible Medicare Advantage Plan and a special medical savings account. With a MSA, you will receive an annual deposit into your account which you can use for Medicare-covered expenses or let it roll over time for major health needs in the future. Once deductible is met, your MSA carrier will pay 100% of any future Medicare-covered expenses incurred. Based on your county and state, your plan could possibly be one of the three benefit structures.
Features of having an MSA account include:
- Zero Premium
- No Network – Go to any doctor that accepts Medicare
- MSA Account – Annual deposit with remaining balance rolling over
- Plans in Every County of Your State (Currently, only available in Texas)
