The best time to enroll in a Medicare Supplement is during the Medigap Open Enrollment Period which is a six-month period beginning on the month you are 65 or older and enrolled in Medicare Part B. If you enroll after this period, you might have to undergo medical underwriting which coverage can be denied if you have a disability or pre-existing condition.
